Xperia mini and Xperia mini pro now in Malaysia

Riding on the popularity and success of Xperia devices, Sony Ericsson has just announced the availability of two new additions to its lineup, in the form of the Xperia mini and Xperia mini pro.

Powered by a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and running on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread), the Xperia mini and Xperia mini pro is touted to boast some of the best imaging and display technology Sony has to offer, in the form of the Reality Display with Mobile BRAVIA Engine, on a 3-inch display.
The Xperia mini enters the ring as the world’s smallest Android smartphone with HD video recording, while the Xperia mini pro will be a side-slider that sports a full-fledged QWERTY keyboard. Both devices will be available next week on the 19th of September. The Xperia mini will retail at RM 699 while the Xperia mini pro will set you back RM 799.
